The Infinix Note 30 5G was announced and launched on May 22, 2023.
This is a budget Android phone from the price point of view which offers 5G for data network and future connectivity options along with other features which I will be taking you through in the coming sections.
Before I go into explaining about this phone, I must say that we have many new phones with better hardware specs at the same price range on the Infinix Note 30 5G.
From the price and hardware specification point of view, I recommend the Infinix Note 40x 5G. If you are looking a 5G mobile under Rs 10000 budget then the Infinix Hot 50 5G is the best option.
The Infinix Note 30 5G has a dimension of 168.5×76.5×8.5mm, which is quite slim to hold as well as has a bigger display for better viewing angles.
The phone weighs 205 grams, which is lighter and quite same in comparison to the competition.
The Infinix Note 30 5G has quite a big screen with up to 600nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone comes with a screen of 6.78 inches display size which is pretty big enough to enjoy all the multimedia or gaming contents on a daily basis.
It has a resolution of FHD+ 1080×2460 pixels which is same as the Infinix 40x 5G and almost same as other phones in comparison in this price range.
It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display which means smooth scrolling and a better gaming experience.
The Infinix Note 30 5G comes with a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 chip which is also found in several other 5G phones as well.
The Mediatek Dimensity 6080 is a 6nm process chipset, offers better battery life and balanced processing capabilities. From the core ARM cpu and GPU and overall hardware controllers point of view it is similar to the Dimensity 6300.
The chipset has ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU which is same in the Dimensity 6300 which gives good FPS in games.
This phone comes in 2 RAM variants such as: 4GB or 8GB RAM. The RAM is LPDDR4X which runs at 2133 MHz. This is same for all phones running on the MTK 6080 chipset.
The Infinix Note 30 5G comes in two built-in storage variants of 128GB and 256GB. This storage can further be expanded up to a 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
As the chipset specification of Mediatek Dimensity 6080 is same as Mediatek 6300, you can compare any phone with these chipsets and look for other aspects to decide before you buy.

The Infinix Note 30 5G has a dual camera setup having the main camera of 108 megapixels and a 2-megapixel macro lens for close-up shots.
The back camera also has a complementing Quad-LED flash to capture better images in the low light conditions.
The primary main camera supports video recording up to 2K@30fps and 1080p@60fps.
The front camera is for selfies and video chats which is an 8-megapixel sensor equipped with a dual-LED flash for well-lit selfies in dim places.
The front camera supports 1080p 30fps video recording.
This camera does not support 4K video recording because the Mediatek Dimensity 6080chipset itself does not support this high resolution video recording.
The Infinix Note 30 5G runs on XOS 13 UI which is based on Android 13 and developed by Infinix.
This phone is fully loaded with AI features for camera, Apps, AI based image generation etc.

The Infinix Note 30 5G supports 14 5G bands which is future ready with global connectivity support. In addition, it has Wifi, BT and many other means of connecting the phone to the outer world.
The Infinix Note 30 5G supports Wi-Fi 5 and can operate on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
It supports Bluetooth 5.1 along with BLE for power efficient connection with various audio devices.
Various GPS connection solutions and NFC support that lets you pay by tapping your phone or transfer images etc.
In addition, the USB Type-C port is useful for modern day connection with almost all kinds of devices.
In addition, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack to connect with legacy audio devices.
The inclusion of 5G support future-proofs the device, ensuring that users can take advantage of faster internet speeds as they become more widely available. Additionally, the dual SIM capability allows for better management of personal and professional contacts.
The Infinix Note 30 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery, which is quite big enough to handle most of the daily tasks including display time, call, network activities etc.
The Infinix Note 30 5G is competitively priced and placed at the under 15000 market segment but this is a year old device and we have better phones in the same price range.
The Infinix Note 30 5G is a well-rounded smartphone having 5G support, balanced performance, high resolution camera and display and of course multiple color options to choose from.
The pricing is also set strategically competitive with some significant differences such as: dedicated sd card slot, high res display over its peers.
If storage is your primary choice then I will recommend the Infinix Note 40x 5G is the best phone under 15000 price range.
On the contrary to this Note 30 5G phone, the Infinix Hot 50 5G has this exact same chipset and battery size, with lower storage, a lower resolution display and of course a much lower price.
If price is a concern for you, then take a look at other 5G phones such as the Infinix Hot 50 5G or the Moto G45 5G which is below this price range.
