The Infinix Note 40X 5G was announced on August 5 and was launched on 9th August, 2024.
This is a budget Android phone from the price point of view which also offers 5G connectivity for data speed along with other features which I will be taking you through in the coming sections.
Design and Build Quality
The Infinix Note 40X 5G has a dimension of 168.94×76.49×8.26mm, which is quite slim to hold as well as has a bigger display for better viewing.
The phone weighs 201 grams, which is lighter but in comparison to the competition, this one is almost 10 grams heavier, which should not be a big deal but just wanted to make it clear with you if you are very strict on the weight of the phone.

The Infinix Note 40X 5G comes with a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chip which is also found in some of the 5G mobiles under Rs 10000 range such as the Infinix Hot 50 5G, Oppo K12x 5G etc.
The Mediatek Dimensity 6300 is a 6nm process chipset, offers better battery life and balanced processing capabilities.
The chipset has ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU which can give a performance of 274 Gigaflops and is capable of handling very good graphics with a higher FPS.
This phone comes in 2 RAM variants such as: 8GB or 12GB RAM. The RAM is LPDDR4X which runs at 2133 MHz. This is same for all phones running on the MTK 6300 chipset.
By default the Infinix Note 40X 5G comes with a built-in 256GB storage. This storage can further be expanded up to a 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Final Words
The Infinix Note 40X 5G is a well-rounded smartphone having 5G support, balanced performance, high resolution camera and display and of course multiple color options to choose from.
The pricing is also set strategically competitive with some significant differences such as: dedicated sd card slot, high res display over its peers.
If storage is your primary choice then this is the best phone under 15000 price range.
On the contrary to this Note 40x phone, the Infinix Hot 50 5G has this exact same chipset and battery size, with lower storage, a lower resolution display and of course a much lower price.
If price is a concern for you, then take a look at other 5G phones such as the Infinix Hot 50 5G or the Moto G45 5G which is below this price range.
